This is my final image of this character based on Trevor Claxton concept. My goal was to make the low poly model, learn and improve my skills with this awesome design. I will upload some images of the process soon. Hope you like it.
I have the concept next to me and I think you made a great job
The forms are very close to the concept, maybe a little more definition of the materials could make your character become more awesome but this is critique on a high level
Some more images would be very nice, how many polygons has your character?
Thanks very much Crazy_pixel and programmer23, you are right with the materials definition. I will retouch them for the reel. Much appreciated your feedback
Here are some more images and info about this character, hope you like it
Thank you guys
GrungyStudios: most of the parts are base shapes from 3ds max because it's easier for me for hard surface modeling. But in my workflow I use a mix of zbrush and 3dmax.
very nice...
would it be possible to get those texture sheets in a higher res
i always love to look at good textures and it always gives me
motivation to try something similar when i see how people work on
their gloss or spec and so on..
i think one can learn very much just from looking at texture sheets
for characters
