PBR flaregun, crits and help

Help me out guys, this is the current state of the design.
The engraving is pretty weak and my main issues are i suck at tarnishing and oxidizing copper and quite a few nooks and crannies to get into.
the wood is a bit flat and i havent started on the grey metal yet.

Overall it looks good, but the shape is just weird. I think the hammer needs a little more detail

im not 100% on my metalness map, not really sure what to do with it other than make it all black and white with light ao
and i dont know if i should do any post process stuff with my normals, i just use the raw bake from max and overlay any extra stuff.

Which map is which here? You shouldn't have any ao in your metalness, AO should be it's own map.

I believe the metalness map should not have gradations, but rather solid values of how "metallic" or reflective the area of the mesh would be. It should be incorporated in your reflectivity map. Your roughness map needs more work tho, more variations of medium to dark values. For the most part tho, it looks great! And yes identify your maps please, besides the normals and diffuse, I had a hard time identifying which is which.

Bottom left is metal I believe because the handle is blacked out.
