Hello o/
I'm currently studying programming and after this i intend to go to a school for game art. I'm learning to use 3D tools in my spare time as well (using mostly 3dsmax and starting zbrush soon) but i don't want to miss out on anything there is to know. So i was thinking of doing a 3d school after what i'm doing now.
So i was wondering if anybody knew of any good schools for Game art in France?
(if i wasn't very clear please tell me, sometimes i formulate phrases badly x) )

The Gobelins are the biggest regret of my life, I made it in and had to quit because I had to move away from Paris for family reasons.
However it's not a video game school, there are quite a few good ones but a lot of them are there just for the money.
Here are the best ones, but it's not always easy to get in :
http://supinfogame.rubika-edu.com/ private school 6500-8000 a year
http://www.enjmin.fr/ it's a state school , it's also great if you already have a job and want to change your career (you can even become a sound engineer for games), there are lot of ways to find funding and they'll help you.
http://www.cohl.fr/ this is the school where some of the best comic book artists come, but they do video games too, if you're going to be a concept artist go there ! look up some of the students work it's just as amazing as the Gobelins. As always in France it's a public school so if you can't afford it you can get funding.
If I could start over again I would go to Cohl or Enjmin , not being in Paris you'll be able to afford to rent a small flat ( impossible here in Paris if your parents cant spare 1000 euros a month), they're in wounderfull cities and student life there is a blast.
