Zbrush Noisemaker stretching

Hey all, just a quick q - am trying to use Noisemaker on a vest to get a pattern running along it, looks great on the front and back but at the sides there's a lot of stretching. I'm guessing I will have to UV it to arrange the pattern how I would like, but is there a way to have the pattern repeating cleanly around the vest, not just the front and sides? Thanks

I believe that if you create UV's you set Noisemaker to project to UV's.

You also might want to look at the polygon flow on the "stretching" areas - they may have longer, thinner polygons causing the noise to be longer and thinner.
