Stylized/painterly props time! So far for these, my pipeline has been to sculpt, then use the AO bake as a reference for the color texture and create two final materials, one diffuse-only and one with the whole normal-spec-gloss-etc. mix. Most of my inspiration so far has been leaning towards Carbine and Blizzard's work, although I'm hoping to vary it up a little as I get better.:)
Lately I've been on a chest kick and started doing some elementalish chests, like you might see if Zelda dungeons had really dedicated interior decorators. Here is the first, a light/holy-type chest.
And a plain little chest I finished up a bit ago as well. I need to go back and tweak the metal colors and gloss on him.
