Hi Everybody!
I have recently started making items for the Dota 2 workshop, I am not that great but I think it's interesting and a good way to pass time, it's something I would like to learn and improve. So I created this thread so that I could get help from other creators and possibly get some feed back on my items and concepts.
Please give useful critique, so I can learn something from it. This will let me no what I should change, what should stay the same and hopefully teach me something.

Dead man's loot - Assassin of Tahlin

Here is my first set, this is something I will continue to work on. As you may notice the metals on my items are a bit bright, so I will dull them down a bit.
Please vist the page to see more, and to check out the seperate pieces, leave a comment and rate so that I know what you think!:poly121:

I think you have probably taken them a little too far, try and use similar colours to what already exists on the base model. Or at least colours that feel natural.
You could try pushing the shader masks a little more so that you have some clearly defined materials.
I would also try and simplify the design on the shoulders because you can only just make it out fully zoomed in.
Other than that I think there is promise in your work. Keep it up
I agree with you especially when it comes to the shader masks, I have had some trouble with them and this is the first time I really have experimented with them. I am currently working on a different device but I will get back to it when I get home again.
Thanks!
