I decided to make more personal work rather than playing games so i opened this thread to show my process and get feedback,
I am aiming to model characters from existing popular games such as WarCraft, Tomb Rider, Darksiders .... . I am hoping by doing more modeling, i can improve my anatomy skills, speed up my workflow, learn different techniques and in the end to have more pieces in my portfolio,:)
So here is my first character form World of WarCraft, Lady Sylvanas.I am aiming to make her as much as possible close to the WOW's Style rather than making her exactly like original concept art
here is my ref board:

I am kind of happy with the shape of character, so from now i will make each indivsual pieces of armor.
Are you going to make it more realistic than the WoW version, or will you stick with handpainted style?
Edit: Also, the cheek bones are too much "exaggerated", female faces are rather "smooth". Sorry for my bad english, I really don't know how to say it.
Keep up!
one thing that stands out for me is the cheekbones a bit flat and the chin could use more roundness.
good job keep it up!
carlobarley, thx for feedback ! i am working on the face right now !
still a long way to go !
... That's very loose legging piece she's wearing.
here is some update on her overall proportion and armors.
