Hello everyone , i started to modelling but im making lowpoly first after doing it sculpted . I saw many modellers doing hi-poly/sculpt first after that doing retopology/low-poly which is better? and how to do sculpt/hi-poly first in zbrush?
While it's not "hard" to model for someone with experience, it's not easy to do properly if you've never done it before. It's very technical and requires a lot of troubleshooting as you progress through the process. I don't suggest just jumping in head first before you've, at the very least, read some guides and watched some videos.
I doubt anyone here can sit down and explain everything to you, but we can offer help once you've got a basic understanding of what you're doing. It's too difficult to explain the technicalities if you don't speak the lingo.
ty but i read it already. But i want to ask something , when i did model lower than 350 tris or 400 it looks very bad when i do model with 700 800 tris it looks good but in workshop there are a lot of awesome models how to do that? (if u answer its normalmap i know that but when doing lowpoly to sculpt it has some bad areas)
nono, its not only for 3ds max, u can do curves in any 3d modeling program. for blender, just extrude the vertices with E then rotate them with R, but also remember to rotate on only 1 axis. X Y or Z. so to do that in blender, press R then X if u want to rotate it around the X axis. same thing for Y and Z axis.
If you are using blender you can just extrude in one direction scaling it down and at and take last vert's enable proportional editing and move it to top.if youdont understand ill describe it detailed.
