Hi everyone.
Is there a good way to create cylinders in NDO? So far, the one limiting factor seems to be the way that the edges end when drawing out a normal. They need to be super soft for the barrel of the cylinder but at the ends they need to be much tighter.
I searched around on here but couldn't find much.

In order to achieve the grooves the cut in this can be done by using multiple vector or masks that are converted to normal maps in nDo and changing the slant to down and set to overlay or hard light.

Oh, that does make sense. If you do have time time tonight, I'd love a better example to see if there's anything I'm missing.
