You want it to not cast shadow just onto itself? What about an unlit shader? I think there is no way to disable just the self shadowing. You can disable the shadow casting, but then it won't cast shadows onto anything.
Go check in the Animset Editor(doubleclick on your skeletal mesh from content browser), in the mesh tab, under LodInfo. you can disable self shadowing per material id.
