Hi everyone .:)
It's been a long time since I don't post something.:poly142:
So I continue a "old project". It's a part of my desktop with PBR render.
Here a wip with old albelo :
Here the last update :
All comments and advices is welcoming :poly142:
[edit] I changed specular of subwoofer, the emissive of lamp and the lighting. Don't hesitate to tell me what do you think

Your edges around the speaker lip need to be more beveled as well.
Just go back and really try and nail the different bevels on all of the edges and add more geometry to your cylinder pieces. It will take the piece much further.
Here a little update for HP of the lamp. I will make backing soon.
Of course any comments or opinions are welcome
If someone have a good knowledge in Marmoset 2 please visit this post.
Many thanks for any help.
I post my last update.
Done :
- the subwoofer
- the lamp
any advices or comment to improve it is welcoming
I post my last update. It's finish for me but if you have any suggestion, idea to improve it.

almighty_gir : You can see the texture sheet on the seconde picture. If you want to see more or/and wireframe don't hesite to ask me.
no comment about my work ? it's perfect ? :poly124::)
Here a render with AO + Normal + Wire.
of course any comment or advices is welcoming
floaters.
the hole at the front and the speaker on the side could both be made of floating geometry that would mean your speaker box would be made of at most, 20 triangles. same goes for the panel on the back, with the knobs.
the speaker mesh could be heavily optimized as well, it's physically impossible to see the concave in the centre from a mesh point of view, it could just be normalmapped with no problem at all.
from a texture point of view, your reflective values are innacurate for PBR, but that will come with practice.
How did I not see that ?! It's obvious! :poly127::poly127::poly127:
Thank you for the advice I'm going to change that. maybe another comment ?:)
Thanks you.
@almighty_gir : Just thanks men , your advices is really useful !! And your support is really appreciated

Either that or my monitor is way too dark :P
- New spec for Subwopfer
- New Emissive for the lamp ( if some on have a idea to create a"real emissive lamp" )
- New lighting
- 4 render :
- With all FX
- Without lens flares ( for @garriola83 )
- Without FX
- A new render AO with new wireframe.
Tell me what do u think and don't hesitate to vote for your best render.
And of course if you have any idea to improve it.
What do u think ?
Make a quick table texture that you can place you props on. Something low key. Pick a sky from marmoset that's an inside environment and then play with your DOF to blur it out a bit. Even that might be to busy for your presentation so you may want to try to play around with levels and stuff in photoshop for the background only. Maybe tone it down and make it a bit darker.
It's all about putting your props in good light here, you want focus on them and nothing else.
