Attack On Titan 3d Maneuvering Device Gear - WIP

Hello Polycount!

I've been modeling Attack On Titan's 3d Maneuvering Device. Attack on Titan is an anime/manga also known as Shingeki no Kyojin in Japan. I'm trying to model it to the best of my ability from some reference photos but the reference photos show it differently almost everytime. So, I'm improvising as I go along.

C&C are welcome. Very early in the stages. This is a WIP and I want to do it justice. I'm not sure if I want to make it a straight HP or just sub-d practice. I just started modeling the sword btw. I know If I tend to bake it the edges need to be corrected because there too tight.

I would love to give you some CC on this, but I can't. It's a really solid model, and from what I know and can see, it's damn accurate to the one in the anime.

I love this show! I have one of the figures (was thinking of making one of the characters with it) and here are some pics of the device if you need any more ref. Good luck on making it, it looks great so far.

You already know the edges are too tight for baking. But if you have a different purpose for it, you're doing fine. Keep going.
