Question Regarding Laptop + Desktop

Is it possible to use a laptop monitor for a desktop? (to have the desktop use the laptop as a monitor)

I don't think so, only the other way around really.

I don't think it's possible without disassembling the laptop as well. Maybe look for something like this? Technically, a laptop should be able to do what an iPad does in this case if someone created the appropriate software.

You could control the desktop from the laptop with something like Chrome Remote Desktop.
