So i wanted to practice my textures and i thought a good way to do this was to model something around me ( so i have all the assets to do the work). So i modeled my chair i use at my desk
It isn't 1:1 of course (because i'm lazy) but i think it's close enough. The quality of the seat compared to the rest is quite mediocre sadly x)
So there we go constructive criticism please
I mainly did this because the feedback on my Corinthian helmet textures was pretty bad so i guess i needed the practice x)
Oh and triangle count: 962
Here is the real chair:

Don't know why, but the title made me laugh anyway ahah
The texture of the straw is a hot mess, but you also need to tweak other bits. Like Odeca said, the wood normal is too strong. The wood grain is inconsistent in scale, and direction; always make the grain follow the length (as in the largest measurement) of the sub-object. And for something you sit on daily, you can do a lot better job of texturing damage, dirt and age.
