Hey guys, I'm having a problem in Maya 2015 that wasn't there in 2014, and wondered if anyone knows how to fix it.

I'm using the DirectX11 viewport (yes its selected in my preferences too) with a DirectX11 shader. I want too produce fake reflections using a cubemap .dds file, just as I have done in the past in Maya 2014, but when I apply it in 2015 it just shows up on the model as a black texture no matter what I do.

2D Spherical Mapping still works just fine as always though.

Thanks,
- Ricky

Can you load the cubemap in the default AutodeskUberShader in the dx11Shader node in reflection and does it work there?

I messed around with the other default DX11 shader types as the cubemap does not work in AutodeskUberShader, or the MayaUberShader, or the BlinnBumpReflect one either. However in this last one I did notice that it loads its default map just fine. So I got this map and plugged it into the AutodeskUberShader and it worked perfectly. So I guess the problem is the file. Although I still don't see why this .dds worked in 2014 but not at all in 2015.

(I downloaded the cubemap from a thrid party site)
