I don't know if it's an African thing or not. Maybe it's the black version of being a ginger (shrug) But there are groups of black people who go gray super early. I remember there was this one kid in elementary school. Literally half the hair on his head was gray. My dad went gray around 12 years old.

It took me till I was in my 20's *sad face*

I think it's really cool. I always sort of wished I'd go gray in my teens though.

I knew a kid in highschool who was half-grayed. Always thought it looked pretty cool. Not to mention DASH-X!

Started losing my hair at 26, now at 49 I just shave it clean. Most people put me at 35...I'm ok with that.:)

in other news, i took the cleanest shit today , it was one solid log, no breaks, didnt have that horrible mud texture, and was really easy to wipe, made me proud.

If by going gray, you mean you are getting gray hair then it shouldnt really matter.

I've been having them since I was around 12ish but that was one of the medicine side effect that I used to take when I had a Typhoid Fever.

After that my hair started turning gray and if I would pull out one gray hair I'd find about 4 gray hair in its place the next day, so I just learned to live with it.
