Over the past few weeks I made a modular environment, I'm pretty pleased with the end result so I figured I'd share! Definitely learned a lot about making things modular and reusing textures as much as possible. Here's to the wiki!
Thanks for the crit, GrungyStudios! I think you're right, some crates and various other items would help spice it up a bit. I'll make some and do an update.
Last night, I went thru and added some crates, a well, and a fence to scatter around the scene. Thanks for the feedback guys, I think this looks better now.
Looks nice!
Two things bother me though;
-Walls and Roofs seem to have a lot of unnecessary tris / edges.
-Scaling looks strange in some ways. For eg. some of the crates are even bigger than the doors, same goes for the well (would require a ladder to use it this way ).
Agree with BertR. Lots of polygons there and they're of no use to you. Try rearranging your modular assets and creating buildings that are unique and different. Different colored roof tops, bricks etc. To me it just looks like the same building duplicated and rotated a bunch of times. Scale some up, scale some down. Consider not using a ground plane and blurred background at all. Details are getting lost.

Benches, mailboxes, posts, signs, lampposts, trees ?
Looks nice so far there.
