I know on the shield there is a line that goes in a circle and protrudes out a bit, I'm going to do it in Ndo on the normal map would take too long to model correctly. I'm trying to build on more what i learned and really concentrate on how things are put together. Thanks guys
Hello mate! that looks pretty good as far as I can tell, just one thing maybe that I noticed as soon as I looked at it is that the shield should be much more thin than that!
It's probably easier to model it in the high-poly and bake it in rather than modifying the normal map directly. Depending on how many sides your high poly tube has, you can probably just grab the appropriate faces and offset them.
Either method, however, should work; it's really a matter of what you're comfortable with.
The shield on the front looks a little thick. >.>
cool work so far.
its also missing the really cool warping that you have in your reference, if you add in that it would be awesome.

lol yea someone said too thick above gotta fix that, are you talking warping on the front shield ?
Looks great, even though the tiled texture on the barrel is a bit obvious, is it not? I am not a fan of the wood texture on the grip either to be honest- it's a good contrast but does not match the overall look at all.

Good call on the barrel, i didn't notice how tiling a certain part was
I was not sold on the wood either, but i wanted to get some feedback first. I think the real one was made of wood but maybe much less contrasting. Maybe do a painted wood
