Hey Guys, First time Polycount user so I hope I did this right haha. I've been looking through all the WIP's and you guys are killing it,keep up the good work guys. So here are some really early concepts for the contest. most of my time was spent looking for reference and cutting these images up for painting. Still so much work to be done but hopefully tomorrow when i post another update you guys could see where they are headed. Gonna try and keep these guys under 4-6hrs each. Sorry nothing was done for the bottom one but I have all the reference images and it's all cut up so I could get started on it tomorrow. It's gonna be like a ruin/sci-fi cave thing.
Cheers,
Frankie Perez

Looks like youre doing a ruined slightly underground bunker of sorts. Not much to say it looks really clear right now so your matte painting work has paid off. Just be-careful not to overload it with visual noise as you go forward.
Thanks FirebornForm for the help. hopefully it works this time
Here is another update. probably gonna look at these in a few days so i could see all the issues and add the final touches then. probably just add the final highlights, detail and some effects. nothing to major. keep up the good work everyone.
The rendering is looking good man, and each image has a nice balance as far as colors and detail versus non detailed areas. If I had one comment, is that you probably don't need to hold TOOO literally to the block-in. When they go in to do the final art in this game, the block in will be embellished with door trims, lights, props etc... I think the fact that you have kept the forms simple is good, and you don't want to overdo it, but carving away at some of the block in, or breaking some of the lines might help so you don't under do it also.
Cheers
