My Name is Zaw Ye Myint. i am from Myanmar and i use 3ds max. i am doing a new Courier base on Asian Myth Creature. This is for a friend who will make Game Tournament in September.
i have couple of questions:
.:. Can i use 3ds max Biped? or do you prefer which system?
.:. Can i Export in FBX format? or which Format do you prefer?
i am need this information to continue my work. need a support form someone expert:poly122:!!! i have 2 skins for both side. i will have a lot of questions when submission on workshop.

it name is "Pyinsa Rupa" in Burmese Myth. You can find it on wiki. similar to "KeacheakSei".

I don't see why you couldn't(?). As long as you follow the Limit on bones, and you have your other parameters defined correctly, you should be okay. Most other animators that I know just create the skeleton from scratch (usually in maya ). Also I say this all as with a grain of salt, I've never actually used Max DotA animation, but I don't see why this wouldn't work.
I use FBX, I could never get into the SMD format, but I have never had a problem with couriers and FBX. I know others may prefer SMD, but its really about your workflow, and what works best for you.
