Just coming off of a contract gig with a mobile company, I'm personally trying to get back into my usual "work-velocity" that involved ZBrush, etc.

I'm knocking this model out relatively quicklym just so I can warm up my habit muscles again. Being inbetween jobs, especially right after university, feels strange.

I'm keeping the finger lengths I had previously. I rememeberd that I thought the concept's fingers were too akwardly short for any reasonable rig to properly animate.

I don't know how faithful you're trying to be to the reference, but I did a quick paint over.
I think I'm going to forgo the wings behind him, chalk it off as, if this was a game, a VFX accessory.

The false beard appears to be farther back in the concept, closer to the throat/jaw junction.
