Here is my first post on Polycount. Ive started getting into modeling over the last year and now Ive decided that I should be a part of the community.
For this mech I wanted to learn the process/pipeline of creating bakes from a high poly mesh to a low poly mesh.
Basic process
-Created basic mesh in Maya
-imported it into zbrush
-added details in zbrush
-exported file and did some retopography in topogun and maya
-created bakes in xnormal
-posed the character with some basic parenting of body parts
-created renders in Marmoset
I probably would have done it a little differently if I could go back in time, but I learned a lot.
