We wanted to do a John Carter meets 80s science fiction novel art covers but as an Aztec warrior tossed into a situation on another planet where he has to compete or race to the death. Think primitive tribal tools meets beast riding.
We are a little late, at this point but I know we can get something if not all, done on time but we are going to just make things. If the time goes over it goes over, we are not too worried. We would just like to work on some models.

I also did a paintover to test out some accessories. The wrists are not right at all, but I'll figure it out soon. The headdress will probably change as well but you get the idea.
The hands and feet are teeny tiny, though! As a rule of thumb, the feet should match the length of the forearm, and the hands should be almost, but not quite, as big as the face.
Keep goin'!
I have a lot to do and nothing is to final right now. Nails on front are not in teeth are not, eyes are not, there are no little details at this point. Just playing catch up. The net and crap on his back are just placeholders, not sure what I want in there yet. Not sure if I like the armor mount how it is currently.
The eye area still needs some work as well as the lips. Ears definitely need more work as they are currently just blocked in and need more character to match the face.
Debating on cutting a hole for the earrings, but that's probably unnecessary. Opinions?
