3ds Max 2014 Vertex Issue

Hey Guys,

Hope you can help me out with this one. Currently trying to convert a Hi-Poly prop down to a Low one for baking. Although, for some odd reason I'm running into an issue with an element.

Problem Outlined Here:



What I want to do is take the floating elements vertices and weld it to the main part. But I'm not even able to select let alone see the floating elements verts.

Any help would be awesome.

Go down to element mode and or vert mode and click unhide all (in edit poly).

I'm not really sure what that happens or how to avoid it in the future, but that usually brings them back for me.

Covert to editable poly again if you can,
also double check they're not set to hidden in the command panel?

edit: Mark beat me too it but that's fair because he made me aware of it in the first place. Ty Mark.
