Weird Subdivide Problem

When I tried to Subdivide Axe's model, this happened in both Zbrush and Blender, http://imgur.com/1mAfxsN . What is happening?

Oh , in blender, go into edit mode, press a to select all, press w, click on remove doubles, then subdivide it
