You might be interested in working with us on a project. We are a small team of game designers. John-Paul as a writer and designer, Meysa and Marijn as artists and co-designers. Together, we form Blue Wyvern Studios.
So before you can decide, let me tell you about the project were starting.
Were looking to create a game in which the players build and manage a tribal civilisation, decide what path it takes in cultural and technological evolution, and discover the world it lives in.
In our eyes, the important thing of a game is the total experience while playing, and we want to create a game that delivers an enjoyable playing time. We dont want to make a game thats very complicated.This means we need to think long and hard about intuitive controls for the player, and an elegant design while trying to maintain our own art style as well. In addition to your and our regular tasks, we think it is always important to give feedback and ideas about how something should or could work. Remember teamwork and communication is vital for a project like this, we need someone who isn't afraid to interact with us and voice your own opinions.
We cannot offer money, nor can we pretend to provide networking opportunities. Were working on this project because it provides us with valuable experiences, and because we enjoy it.
