3ds max windows 8 viewport performance

Guys i just got my laptop with win 8 and i get noticeable lag in max viewport.
Im am sure its win8 issue because my laptop is a 3k$ mosnter asus g750jz.
If anyone knows what causes that issue please share.
I have the feeling its caused by aero made internal part of interface and im looking for a way to kill the bastard.
If anyone knows please help.

haha sry guys i solved it seconds later
i went into advanced system settings and put all performance settings to max performance so no ui eyecandy
and now no lag in vewport. Seems some setting there interferes with max but im too lazy to figure out which one

Laptops usually come with a built-in GPU on the motherboard, which is the default for all graphics, and is not very fast. If you have a nice graphics card, you need to use the drivers to force your 3d apps to use its GPU instead of the built-in one.

Apparently not.

Do you have a NVIDIA card? Their control panel usually has Manage 3D Settings, and in there is a tab Program Settings where you can apps to use their GPU.
