Hey Guys,
Its been awhile since i've posted on here. Recently graduated from school so i was on a little vacation. Though i'm back on the grind and began to work on a new portoflio piece. I had a previous thread giving critiques on my website so i plan to remove some work and change the entire thing to cater towards Character Work.
I found a very intesreting concept by an artist with the name "Datouxiaozuo"
Concept:
Here's my WIP of the character. Wondering if i should approach it in a realistic style or a handpainted style. Any ciritques/feedback is welcome!

I'd watch some proportions as the gloves are looking a bit small and she seems a bit too top heavy (if you know what i mean) also the cheeks might be too puffy.
Anyway keep it up i love that concept!
I like her face from the side view, really cute, but yeah I agree with the others for the cheeks on the 3/4 view.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as i'm currently adding details and making adjustments.
Actually, while I'm looking closely, the ear anatomy seems pretty off, with no real foundation in reality. I suggest you do some ear studies and rework it.
Looking forward to seeing the end result!
I agree with what the other artist told you about aldready,
The cheeks looks a little bit too puffier, try to soften the shape over there. The ear looks a bit weird, especially at the base.
Otherwise only nit picking here. But the back of her shoes is going wat too far back behing the actual heal, That would actually be really weird to walk back with and very uncomfortable. I think the heal is placed at the right place, just bring back the back of the shoes to fit with it.
The waist seems to be thinner also by the way.
