Here is my WIP of a Spad A2 mixed with features from variants of the plane. Been working on it for a month or two straight now, and feel the progress could be a little faster than I've had without sharing it, so its here for some bashing.:)
I've been working on this model as a learning experience, something to take me through the steps of a general workflow. I have collected a lot of great resources from Polycount (Thank you to the original posters!) and elsewhere on the internets along the way which I intend to post online in a wiki fashion later on
Please leave any feedback, I'm open to new ideas and suggestions along the way.

Do you make later a whole scene with a dogfight over the clouds?
I think you can make your UV better, there is too much free space.
You can try to bring all UV Shells to a homogenic size.
Keep it up, I'm looking forward to see the textured version
