I don't think dDo really fixes any seam issues, it's just applying textures based on masks that are still affected by texel density and UV seams. A texture painting program would hide the seams though, if that's the main thing you're looking for.
With the right set-up, you can even do it in Photoshop, but I can imagine that the real trick here would be to ensure that all of your maps match up when you blend the seams together, which can be daunting to do well.
Automatic seam fixing is still on the to-do list for Quixel, right? ^^
