heey i was using handplane but when i set my lowpoly that have soften edge and my tangetspace normal map. when i create with handplane the object space one its all black when i put the normal map on my model.
The soft edge one looks like it still has some hard edges on it... could be you've got some odd geometry going on? Or some UV splits in odd places, judging by the tangent space result.
Also, you're better off triangulating your geometry for Handplane, you can't guarantee you'll get the results you want otherwise.
But if you're baking in Maya for use in Maya, why are you using Handplane all?
