I had a crack at Varian Wrynn from the Warcraft universe.
The aim i had in mind was to end up with a more realistically rendered/textured bust, keeping the blizzard style of proportion and effects (wear/nicks etc) but maintaining nice pbr skin/materials. Hopefully it doesn't end up scraping the bottom of the uncanny valley, but its been an interesting experiment so far.
c&c wanted!
Edit:
Finished retopo and most bakes, started texturing. Game rez mesh is about 11k tris including all the fur shells.
Current progress;

Cheers guys
Pretty niffy use of fiber mesh too.
Dropped the redness, maybe still too red?..idk looks a bit sickly at the moment.. Armor material is just a quick bash in ddo atm. Trying to get the skin and fur shells looking nice.
Started blocking in metals and such, the skin looks a bit better now. I think i'm going to redo the fur...the more i look the more i hate it.
Thanks for the kind words/crits guys, too cool.
Fur is always a tricky one, this is looking awesome though!

I unfortunately dont have a better idea =P
Maybe instead do something with the alliance symbol?
@KKolar I'm thinking of reusing one of the ribbons as a banner in the background perhaps, i don't want to spend too much time on the pedestal.
Getting close to being done on the armor. Then all that's left is the hair and a bit of polish.
Finalllllly got a moment to get back and work on this guy after Aus PAX. Getting pretty close
