Hey Guys,
Chris and I are both starting new Personal Projects in our spare time and we thought it be a good idea to turn it into a bit of healthy competition instead of clubbing together to do one combined scene.It should be a good way to push ourselves and learn from each other and share research, ref and techniques.
We chose to do the two Deus Ex Scenes below. So far we have just got a blockout done.
We are also both using different engines which should be fun to see the difference between the two scenes.

Thought I'd give a quick update of my greybox and what assets I'm looking to add to the scene. I may do another breakdown of the materials / more advanced ideas that I would like to implement but for now this is what I currently have. I'm hoping to get this into engine with some basic lighting this week too.

Any c&c on improving the scene are much appreciated. I'm trying to implement as much of the game as I can, but if I have missed anything obvious do forgive me as I've only just picked the game up (don't hate me).

The main structures are going to be made from a lot of cast iron and steel, with maybe brick and plaster walls, the floor will probably be concrete but I want to fit beams and pannelling into it somehow, with a third of it being tiled.
I would like to see this as well :]
