Hi Guys.
Finally i finished the AK 47:
And I think its time to open a new thread about the new weapon im working on. Its a H&K MP5 with Surefire Flashlight on the front. At the moment im not sure about how to texture the Flashlight. Will be a new experience for me.
Also i forgot to model in the Shell-Ejection. I mean its on the right side of the weapon, but what when the player has the opportunity to switch the weapon hand to the left side?
At the moment it´s just a fake Normal, but i think i will modell in this part,too, to gave the weapon on this spot more deepness.

Are these images shot with an orthographic camera? The gun looks a bit funny from the last two, but the rest look normal. That said, it might also be the shadow/white background combo that's throwing me off.

Its a Mix of Perspective and Orthographic Screenshots
Also i mainly bring it up because chunky and rounded just looks better, catches much better highlights.
The LowPoly is chamfered, and the HighPoly has no Support Edge anymore.

At the moment im not really happy with the bake, because there are some black borders. Is it because of a too smoothed highpoly?
And yes, when rotating the sky, same black borders at same spots.
Theres a stupid Triangle i have to fix...(At the Handguard, funny,on this pic its not visible..)
Still some work on this one. But the finish line has started to get visible
The Flashlight is at the moment complete white in gloss and spec.
Like a Mirror. Dont know how wo make it 40% Transparent.
The Barell, the Rear Sight and some other Metall Parts are not touched at the moment. And the Handguard LowPoly has to be a bit deeper.
Critique would be nice to improve dat whole thing!
