mouse sensitivity problem in 3dsmax

Hello , I have a problem with my mouse logitech anywhere mx .

It works fine in most programs photoshop , zbrush etc ... but in max it started to behave strangely , especially on the left mouse button sensitivity .
Its making work in max pretty hard as everytime I select something it usually looses the "grip" or "hold" even if I kept pressing the left mouse button .
So when I clone or pull things around it looses the take on the items , vertexes, edges and so on ... this causes all sort of annoying delays ...
what can it be due to ? how coudl I fix?
Btw is the thrid mouse I changed , always anywhere mx , but I changed it befoure couse it stopped working , not this seems to be an issue related only to max .
Also this last mouse I have is new and has full batteries .

Any ideas ? ...

Could this just be dirt under your shift key? That was my solution not long ago after wasting half a day with troubleshooting.

this may be due to your world scale of your scene if its very large and you build small objects this can prove difficult in navigating a scene

Try a wired mouse and see if Max still does this. Also try uninstalling the mouse driver and see if the default windows drivers work.

turns out that it was some cat hairs in near the laser pointer ... I cleaned and for now seems work but I hope it was just that ....
