So here is where I am at with my highpoly. I'm at a bit of a block. I'm not sure if I should take it to Zbrush, or bake what I have (the bags notwithstanding, I'll be bringing those into Zbrush for another detail pass).
Does anyone have advice for my use of "floater geo" i.e. am I using it in the best way?
Floaters work nice when you don't see the seams of the two different geometries (when looking from a top facing angle). So yes, they are ok.
Something that won't work ok with this HP model are the edges. When you're going to bake a normal map out of this they will not be / will be barely visible. Make those softer
