Hello there,
i'm new to zbrush and have been wrestling with a character bust and am a little stuck when it comes to the hair. I've got where i am so far with move, clay buildup and DamStd.
Please can anyone help with some advice on how to sculpt stylized hair in ZBrush?
Or, is it just a case of drawing in bigger shapes then methodically working them smaller? Any help would be great, thanks!

Try to play with the settings of the brush curve - may give you more more variations of the hair strands.
There is great thread about sculpting hair somewhere here. I can't find it now, maybe somebody else will post a link.
BTW: nice character, bit like Goscinny&Uderzo's Asterix.

That was really insightful, thanks for sharing!
Yes that is really a great vid breaking down some really great techniques. I wanted to link that same vid when i saw this, but couldn't remember what MOBA it came from, glad someone else did.
Would love to see an update on your sculpt after implementing your new found insight. I really like the head, but the beard lacked for sure. Can't wait to see more!
@stevston89 - i think i'm going to have to do some extensive beard research to find the larger shapes. In the comic, it's just a single shape so i'll get on to that. Thanks so much for the video link. I'm about to watch it now but it already looks super helpful!
@Stockwell - Thanks for the compliment! I'll post whatever progress i make, be it good or just plain cakpie xD
Thanks again everyone for the kind words and help
T'is yourself!
