Extravagant Ceiling advice

SO. I'm a bit stuck on a way to go around create a ceiling for a 1900s style ballroom. I have an idea of what I want to do but can think of the best way to go around creating it.

I was wondering if anyone has created anything like this before and has any advice on where to start. I will love you forever and always if you do
