Decided to try and give the the contest a shot

Mood board:

I've been wanting to make a mech for a while, something agile and designed to run fast, I also liked the idea of my rider riding on the back of it instead of in a traditional cockpit. I don't normally do mechanical things as I'm not that familiar with them, and I need to work more on hard surface modeling so it will be a good challenge.

@Novian - Thanks for the encouragement! I've been rather busy so it's been a little slow going. Will definitely give the feet some more articulation, I'm just not sure how I want to go about it yet, I just know the shape I want.
It's not much but here is a very general block out to get a sense of scale and how it fits together, need to concept pieces out a bit more.
Hey guys finally an update, progress has been slow and steady. Since mostly mechanical things are well outside of my comfort zone and knowledge I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to go about making this, failed a little bit in the beginning but I'm starting to get into the groove.

Gotta keep on going!:)
