UPDATE : Arms wip and stuff.

Guess I'm going to try hacking my way through this challenge.

Hope I'll have enough time! July is going to be a pretty busy month this year.

My current plan is to create a woman driving a mechanical hand-assisted Hoverbike. The hovercraft nature of the motorbike let's it go on any sort of terrain and the arms are to give trouble to other racers trying to make her fail the race.

She'll probably be in some kind of retro-post-apocalyptic aviation suit. Hope that makes sense!

Updated mesh a little with a female placeholder and some edges moved a bit, nothing too serious yet though. I'm still not content with some shapes

    Progress!

Arm's are WIP of course and the proportions on them are to be changed a bit. The pivots and movement is working nicely though so that's one good step ahead.

Hands are to be done next, I'm really looking forward to modelling them.

I'm generally content with where things are going. A good lot of details are going to needed and instanced around though.

I gotta say, I'm digging this vehicle concept! Cool synthesis of insectoid and mechanical. You might consider how to further emphasize the "irritatability" of the arms e.g. make sure they have pretty good range of motion/rotation.

Hey thanks for the nice comments man! I was starting to be afraid my thread was going to look like an echo chamber. The legs are definitely going to get more love in the coming days.

I agree with the legs. I was actually taking on a very interesting robot design (seen in the video) that gives the robot arms a complete 360 degree range of motion so that the driver can do basically all she wants with them depending on her needs.
