So even though I was already working on something else and uni production is on crunch I couldn't resist at least trying to join this contest.

Here's my knight with his mighty steed, asset_demon_02



I might try and see if a friend wants to help, probably get changes in the concept if he is keen.

Very rough blocking out of the knight. Looking at it now I think he needs to be wider and more square.

demon concept with daew, sorry been slacking, school project crunch time atm but should have more time to work on it. will start to block in the model when i can. any feedback will be nice not sure which way to take it yet

Wow, those demons look great. I'd have to choose the one on the far right personally, love the skull like elements to his face and how big his horn/wings are.

I agree, the middle demon seems like he can handle the weight!

The demon on the left is my favorite, but he also seems less likely to be able to carry your guy, plus I'd actually feel bad for him stuck with that job!

The one in the middle seems way more sturdy and is the kind of creature I could see carrying a heavy load all the time.

The rider is awesome keep it up!

thanks everyone. Sorry about the lack of updates

I am ashamed of my progress. So slow T_T. It's been a combination of procrastination and no time. (if the two can even be grouped together)
I'm pretty sure I won't be able to finish this before the deadline but I'll still be working on it.

Viewport 2.0 screengrabs and trying out come colors.
I still need to figure out some bits on the knight and then bring him up into zbrush for a detail pass.
And I've talked to Hanabi and we agreed I should do the demon
So still concepting the demon.
