Here is some Reference we are thinking about as an idea of where we kind of want to start. Still brushing out ideas. For now I was inspired by some Coop drawings and RatFink for the contest once I read the contest rules. Here is some quick reference or a style we might be going for. Still bringing ideas to the table.

An early stab at a character design -- kind of going mixing the vibe from the reference with some sci-fi ideas. Drawing from Megadeth's Eddie character a bit also

Awesome idea btw, I used those monster hot rods as ref for my own brutal rod years ago, always wished i had a team member to a character to go along with it.

Just thought I would mess around with the character and add a vehicle to suit his personality. I was thinking of Grave Digger and a Dune Buggy when I came up with this one.

Thanks Xoliul -- I think that isn't the first time I have made that mistake. I guess the Megadeth character is called "Vic"

Here is the update -- pretty happy with it. Not sure it can be punched up much more



It's fun to be bouncing ideas back and forth with Will. Coming up with some stuff I think is really fresh!

I'm pretty into this. Grossout/trucks art from the whenevers is this whole untapped realm. The only thing that feels arbitrary on this design is the thin waist, but that's what's good about that bit. The rest looks ripe. Wanna grep those excellent tattoos in 3D.

Heh it's amusing how he decided to get a second right hand rather than a left. But that just adds more to the character's persona
