3ds max zooming problem

Hey this is a crappy UI question so sorry if i bore ya.

I'm having trouble zooming in on my models at times and it's really frustrating. It just seems to block and i can't zoom in further, even with a polygon on the model selected.

Well it doesn't block it zooms in at a very very very slow pace. Anyway that's that any help would be greatly apreciated.

Try to scale down or scale up your model. Also press Z to focus on it.

I had the same problem. I fixed it by switching to orthographic view. On the top-left of you're view-port their should be some text with [perspective] click it and select orthographic.

I tried scaling but in the end i just end up with an extremely large model and difficulties for setting up the scene, welding verts etc...

I'l try the focus thingy

You could try switching to orthographic view instead of perspective, usually this lets you zoom in freely.
