Amazon Game Studios is looking for a Lead Artist to champion the artistic vision for one of our projects. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with the Studio Art Director, Lead Designer and Product Owner to develop unique visual identities for games. You will need to be profecient with tools standard in the industry such as Max, Maya, Zbrush and Photoshop and comfortable troubleshooting and inventing within a game engine. You will work with art, design, and technical discipline leads to solve specific challenges, provide direction to peers, and need to be comfortable with artistic critique.

Qualifications
- Portfolio that demonstrates style range, creativity and craftsmanship.
- 4-10 years of experience in the game industry as a digital artist.
- Must have shipped multiple game titles, and owned an end to end process.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong business sense and acumen.
- Consistently makes well-disciplined business tradeoffs to maximize their work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong judgment and instincts.
- Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.
- Insists on the highest standards from self and others. Drives accountability for results.
- Proficient with color theory, anatomy, composition, graphic design, visual effects, principles of animation & lighting.
