GDC Europe/ Gamescom meetup. EURO-Counters Unite!

So... As I am booking my flight to Cologne for the upcoming GDC/Gamescom, I've been wondering if any other Euro-Counter is planning to be there too?
Would sure be cool to hang around town, maybe grab a beer or two.

I tried to do this in 2012, sadly I didn't really get any reply. Seems there are not that many Polycounters going there, it also seems to me that GDC Europe isn't that much focused on the art side of games as GDC SF is.

Won't be going this year but good luck gathering people

Epic Poland will be there along with folks from other Epic studios Our Hotel is next to this Irish pub so I guess well be there often!

Awesome response guys! 17 so far! Added some details, obviously 7pm is pretty early start in Gamescom terms especially if you are over with other devs, food etc. Is it good for everyone? Maybe we could do food first? Updated the FB page but subject to change as always

Always up for food first. ALWAYS!
I Think we should meet up infront of the bar at 7:00, and just roll from there. If people would be up for food first, then why not? :>
Also, wear your polycount gear, if you have any. (For ID purposes!).

I'll be in Cologne from the 10th till the 17th, so if you wanna meet up at wednesday evening as well, I'll be up for that.

Share the event, sign up the more we get the more we can make it an annual get together! Been there 4 years now and bumped into a lot of the community, would be nice to have something for everyone and grow the community

We've been at the Ori "booth" a couple of times, sadly no polycounters showed up, i just talked to many germany folks there.

we have just been there on wednesday for the tradeshow, no time and definitely also no interest beeing in those overcrowded halls on friday

the stations are in hall 6 in the xbox area
