I'm looking for experienced modders from the Baltimore area, interested in being a part of a team creating indie games.
I've been programming for 14 years, and for the past 12 I've been playing around with game development. As a game developer I'm reaching a plateau as I've become pretty saturated with experience in the programming involved. I'd like to experiment with a team in creating complete games.
The ambitions for the first project are going to be very scaled back to focus on having some finished product, and gain experience in an indie team dynamic and end to end creation process. So we can knock out a simple game and move on to another and another, and scale up the team and the size of the games over time.
I'm also going to cede all creative controls by responsibility, so if someone does all of the art, they also have the final say on all of the visual aesthetic. The small scale of the projects will also allow different team members to each get a chance realize their own core concept ideas for different games.
