Character: Andrei

Hi everybody!

Here’s a character I’m currently working on for my friend’s school project (beat em up).

Andrei is an old Russian veteran that seeks revenge against the ones responsible for using him as a laboratory rat for military researches.

Hope you guys Like it and I would love some advice and critics to improve the model and the presentation itself for my portfolio!

cool Style...like the character and SMG. the knife would require some refinements in texture wise. May be darken the diffuse ....

Very cool! Sorta borderlands like in style. How is this being rendered? Personally, I think I would remove most of the black lines and stuff on the face. You could even consider using a different shader all together for the skin portions. Currently I feel like the materials and things are reading quite well with the black out line stuff, but the face looks too noisy and like stone.

@BradMyers82: I rendered this in Marmoset! About the face, I gotta agree with you, there's a lot of noises and the sharpen filter in marmoset surely doesn't help! :P I've toned down the Ao and cavity map in the face and it reads better now in my opinion.
