Hello everyone

I`m falling into a big quest called "Hard Surface texturing". I saw here many amazing works and want to ask for a piece of advice. What is your workflow about texturing and texturing hard surface models? I saw some tutorial from Stefan Morrell about texturing hsm, however I`m missing something. Could you please tell how exactly it is done. As I understand it should be like this:

1. Model low poly model
2. Model hi poly model
3. Bake normal, AO, Specular maps
4. then which map to use to make color of the model and apply some details on it...huge gap

Any help would be appreciated!
