Hi guys is this the right section?
Hope so
After a loong time im working on something i am personally proud of.
This ship is the most complex and most satisfying thing i've done up to date.
Maybe it doesn't look so good, but i've made it all myself.
I make sketches, i made perspective concept, and im working on high poly
right now.
Below are pictures
I made a rough sketch, just forms which i filled with cutout images of real world spaceships and parts of nasa ships.
Then i refined it
I hope this is worth sharing! Im going to finish it full cycle with PBR in the end.
Let me know what you think!

Progress on engines.
Right now im traversing highpoly exploding parts making lowpoly for them.
Am i doing it right?
Best of luck! Not like you will be needing it.. It looks so good it seems like it makes it's own!
But anyway, keep up the work, looks absolutely fantastic, can tell you have spent a lot of time on this.
Can't wait to see it textured.
It looks to me that your working in 3DSMax. Well, it applies to Maya as well, but when I`m modeling the HP stuff, I always keep my modifier stack intact/I don't delete the history so I can go back easily and remove the HP details to get my low poly.
If you find that you can't really get a LP out of your HP then just go ahead and quickly box model out a new LP. Make sure to get the silhouette right and let the normal map take care of the small details.
This will look craaazy once you set up the entire PBR process. Can't wait
guys applying material colors for pbr is so tedious it takes longer than retopo and unwrap combined but almost done
