Just posting this to ask you guys for some advice and seek your opinions on what I've done here. I'm getting to grips with workflow techniques so decided to try out what I've learnt to make a stone path texture.
My production pipeline was rather simple and goes as follows -
basic block outs were done in Maya,I sculpted the detail in Mudbox, organised the blocks back in Maya and then baked the AO and Normal maps, finally took the maps into Photoshop and created this texture map.
For a first attempt I don't think this is to bad. But what recommendations would you suggest, how can I improve this?
I would like to go through and make some variations of this, perhaps one with grass between the stone and one with cracks and damage but I'd like to hear your suggestions first.
